Follow the latest round of seminars of social media marketing which we’ve covered the basics of Twitter and other social media tools and sites I’ve received questions about using Twitter for marketing purposes. In response to these questions, I wanted to write a short list of Twitter for better business practices and some of the most popular tools that make these practices possible. This list of tools, techniques, and what is possible is to change and grow almost daily with the explosion of the use of Twitter and discussions to merge with another site or a partner. So I hope to keep on using Twitter for business purposes, we will again publish more on this subject from time to time.

• Be Real (not hide) –

It is important that you have completed registration and profile information when registering on Twitter. If you put your Twitter ID as a brand name is less real than the use of a personal name. If you still want the company name out there, you can add the company name of the people (like Dell computers have been known to do with names like “PatrickAtDell”). In the Profile section, submit your site. I recommend a short URL here if you can avoid it is your brand and the full link helps you in your SEO ranks. Also in the Profile section introduces the relevant search terms in the description in your profile.

With the profile limited to 160 characters bio, asked relevant keywords included. This way you do not have much room to talk about the particular company. However, you can also squeeze in more content about their business, including other Web sites, URLs, logos, content, or download a customized background Twitter. Note that the search engines and tools people use to find you not find the words or content that is in the background. Therefore, the keywords must be in the description.

Finally, and perhaps most important is that you need to download an image. People want to see that they are communicating with, even if you represent a company. If Twitters not think they are real, they are less likely to be interested in following you and learn more about your business (we recall Twittering for business). If you try to hide no picture, just a logo, a profile incomplete or no information, the cynical side of social marketing will have on the media, people assume the worst and do not follow you.

• Participate (as appropriate, contribute, share reaction) –

For a company or business person to be relevant to the current Twitter conversation, they need to participate. Ask questions and get answers. Answer questions from other users. Tweet not only their own contributions to this fund, but retweet (RT) Tweets that will be useful. Promote and / or take other where there is a reason. You can build a faster result if you are trustworthy (better way is to be trusted), know your subject and does not appear that they are something they buy.

The degree and ranking of sites are similar both to each other, and their activity. A number of research tools that will help you know who speaks and who responds specifically to you (for example, with @ replies). These tools can help determine where you might want in a conversation and build so important. This is important to be noticed by the search for other users. It is built with the contribution of the following, relevance and responsiveness.

The number of keywords in your tweet cloud is also important. Are you an active tweeter? If yes, what are you tweeting about? If you are fairly consistent in what we discuss? There is a difference between using Twitter as text messaging and blogs every trip to the store and the use of Twitter for companies with an objective, the specific focus of your online identity and issues to bear. Again, the ranking of the websites listed in this specific approach and move quickly to “elite” in the State of keywords selected if Tweet with some foresight.

• Automate (if possible) –

Reduce the time it takes to investigate what happens in Twitterdom hasten their own Tweeting, follow automatically, and build faster classification and easier. There are several types of automation tools available to help Twitter to build your business presence without having to hire a back room full of people:
