The Importance of Creating a Business Plan

Creating a business plan will help you improve your chances of success in business and avoid key mistakes. Even if you’re the only person who reads your plan, you should mean a written plan for your business, you are, why are you different than your competitors and how you conduct your day to day.

Why create a business plan is important

1) If you are starting a business – your business plan will help you analyze if your business idea is viable and worth the time, money and resources must be committed to success. Ask yourself:

- How do you define success?
- Do you have the know-how needed to start this company?
- Can you afford to start this business? Do you have enough money to cover startup costs and monthly fees?
- How will you make money? How much revenue do you expect to do every month?
- Who is your target audience? What type of customers to buy your products and services?
- What is the risk? If the company goes bankrupt, what impact you personally?
- Do you like to be independent?

2) If you want to recover from a break-in – your business plan can serve as a guide to increase your company’s growth and profits. Develop a plan helps you define what the daily activities and focus projects. Ask yourself:

- Where do you want to be? Why are you not satisfied with your current company?
- What are your objectives and monthly sales revenue?
- What obstacles have you encountered that prevents you achieve your goals?
- How can these obstacles be overcome?
- What are the resources, time and budget you have to concentrate on growing your business?
- What are the projects and activities should be your priorities? They leave it to free more resources?

3) If you want to improve the functioning of your business – your business plan can help you determine where inefficiencies and obstacles and how to improve your performance. Ask yourself:

- What are your strengths and weaknesses compared to your competitors?
- How can your weaknesses?
- How can you increase sales?
- How can you better serve your customers?
- How you can spend more time on income generating tasks?
- Where do you see most of the time to spend your budget? In what areas we can cut costs?
- What looks like change? What are you looking for?
- What measures can you take today to achieve these goals?

A good business plan, to build confidence and give you the motivation to lasting changes in your organization to make.
